Good drama rides on its music as much as its actors: the opening theme makes a promise, the ending theme exhales, and the cue under a scene carries the tension the dialogue won't say out loud. The /drama-soundtrack skill in FilmMovie Studio works like a music producer — it doesn't churn out generic "epic" tracks, it derives from your script why each piece should sound the way it does. First it runs a musical analysis (genre, emotional arc, each character's musical personality), shows you a soundtrack plan and waits for approval. Only then does it generate. This guide walks the whole flow click by click — from pasting the script to auditioning the finished suite on the music track.
What you'll need
- FilmMovie Studio installed with an audio provider (Audio Studio) configured in Settings.
- A script, episode outline, or at least a few paragraphs describing the story and 2–4 main characters.
- A sense of the genre and the period/setting of the story — it sharpens the musical analysis.
Step by step
- 1
Create a project and open chat
In the Launchpad, click "New project", name it (e.g. "Drama soundtrack") and confirm. The Workspace opens with an empty canvas and the chat panel on the right.

Start the /drama-soundtrack skill
In chat, click the skill icon and pick "Drama Soundtrack", or type /drama-soundtrack into the box. The skill card introduces itself as a soundtrack producer and asks for your story text.

Paste the script or story outline
Paste a script, episode outline or a few paragraphs of plot into chat. If you have no text, describe the show: genre, setting, 2–4 main characters and the big emotional beats. The app pulls a working title, genre and period out of it.

Review the musical analysis
The app runs an analysis and drops a card on the canvas: genre and tone, a five-phase emotional arc, each character's musical personality (tempo, energy, major/minor, warm/cool instruments) and the key scenes with their emotional type and an intensity of 1–5.

Approve the soundtrack plan at the creative gate
The analysis becomes a "Soundtrack Plan" card — one entry per track: an opening theme, an ending theme, a theme per main character and a cue (BGM) for each key scene, each with a "why" line. The app pauses and asks: "Shall I start composing?" Choose "Approve — generate all tracks", or "Adjust the plan" and add notes.

RemixoutputTip: Generating music is the expensive step — that's why the skill always pauses first. Trim the plan freely: fewer justified tracks beat a padded suite. - 6
Watch the audio cards appear
After approval the tracks compose in order: opening theme (OP) first, then ending theme (ED), character themes, and finally the scene cues (BGM — S01, S02…). Each track is its own audio card wired to the plan card; while generating, a card shimmers, then fills with sound.

Audition the tracks on the card
Play each finished audio card right on the canvas with its play button. Compare the opening and ending themes — the OP should be faster and denser, the ED slower and airier. If a track misses, say which one in chat and what's wrong; the app regenerates just that single track.

Open the timeline and audition the full suite
Open the timeline (it docks at the bottom) — every track lands on the Music track in plan order. Here you listen to the whole suite back to back, and move or trim clips. Don't render: the deliverable of this skill is the track suite itself, not a video.

SaveFilesTip: The "Soundtrack Plan" card stays on the canvas as documentation — for each track it explains why it sounds the way it does.
What you get
From a single script you have a full soundtrack suite — an opening and ending theme, character motifs and instrumental cues for the key scenes — laid out on the timeline's music track and backed by a plan card that explains the point of each piece. No random "epic" tracks: every cue is justified by a specific character, scene or emotional beat in the story.
Pro tips
- The opening and ending themes must never resemble each other: the OP is faster and denser (the show's promise), the ED slower and airier (the exhale after the credits).
- Every cue (BGM) is purely instrumental and carries one emotion — tension, romance, betrayal, reunion; the brief always ends with "instrumental only, no vocals".
- If a track misses, don't regenerate the whole suite — just say in chat which track is off and the app rewrites that single brief.
